What does an address in Texas look like?
A typical Texas mailing address follows the standard US format — house number and street, city, the state code TX, then a 5-digit ZIP code:
152 Maple St, Austin, TX 78701
Here 78701 is a real Austin ZIP code, so the city, state and ZIP pass region-consistency validation. The street and house number are sample data — use the generator above to produce more random Texas addresses with names and phone numbers, or copy individual fields straight into your form.

Texas: FM roads and capped sales tax
Texas ZIP codes span 75001–79999 plus 88500s in El Paso. Outside the cities, many addresses sit on "FM" (Farm-to-Market) or "RR" (Ranch Road) routes — "1200 FM 1960 Rd" is a valid street line that breaks parsers expecting a named street. State sales tax is 6.25% with local additions capped at 8.25% total, and Texas has no state income tax.
How to fill Texas addresses into forms
- Street Address takes the house number and street name.
- City must be one of the Texas sample cities, e.g. Austin, Dallas, Houston.
- State accepts either the full name "Texas" or the two-letter code "TX".
- ZIP Code has to match the selected city — mixing regions is the most common validation failure.
Responsible use
Generated Texas addresses are for development, QA, checkout flows and interface demos. They are not verified delivery addresses and should not be used to impersonate people or bypass service rules.
States bordering Texas
Neighboring states use different ZIP code prefixes, area codes and sales-tax rules, so switching to a bordering state is a quick way to test another region branch of your form.
